چکیده

In view of the uncertainty in calibration process two-color plane laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) temperature measurement, a new method is proposed, which influence yield considered. The was carried out at high and low region, respectively. Then, bias thermometry results origin from quenching restrained. This validated jet flame with range 1300–1800 K. Here, Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS), single-point calibrated PLIF, two-point PLIF are all acquired maximum standard errors 13 K, 36 37 deviation between average (CARS) 120 K 10 when one-point methods used. Therefore, preferred combustion field, especially large strong coefficient.

Two-dimensional velocity-field measurement in a hypersonic gas flow over a cone using planar laser-induced fluorescence

Planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) of nitric oxide is used to measure a component of the velocity field for the Mach 7 flow around a cone. Velocities are measured in the freestream, shock layer, and the separated region behind the cone. The measurements are compared with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) codes. The comparison indicates that the CFD correctly predicts the flow over the fo...

Simultaneous planar laser-induced incandescence, OH planar laser-induced fluorescence, and droplet Mie scattering in swirl-stabilized spray flames.

Simultaneous planar laser-induced incandescence, hydroxyl radical planar laser-induced fluorescence, and droplet Mie scattering are used to study the instantaneous flame structure and soot formation process in an atmospheric pressure, swirl-stabilized, liquid-fueled, model gas-turbine combustor. Optimal excitation and detection schemes to maximize single-shot signals and avoid interferences fro...

Diode laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy for combustion thermometry

This paper describes the first use of novel blue diode lasers to make temperature measurements based on fluorescence. As a demonstration of this principle, indium atoms were seeded as a probe species into flames and the resulting diode laser induced fluorescence allowed an accurate determination of the temperature at a point. This permits spatially resolved measurements to be made, which are im...

Microscale Laser-Induced Fluorescence Method for Non-Intrusive Temperature Measurement

Ratiometric Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) Thermometry is applied for temperature measurements in a ‘T’ junction, using microscale visualization methods. Rhodamine B (RhB) and Rhodamine 110 (Rh110) are used as the temperature-dependent and temperature-independent dye, respectively. The temperature responses of the two dyes were carefully measured for different concentrations. A novel normaliz...

High-Speed Multi-Line OH Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence in Unsteady Flames

We describe the further development and application of a dual-injection-seeded optical parametric oscillator and associated kHz-rate burst-mode pump laser for high-speed OH planar laser-induced fluorescence in unsteady flames. A detailed overview of the novel double-pulse configuration of the burst-mode laser is given, indicating the potential for use in systems where both high energy and high ...
